PHILOSOPHY
I am one of those lucky people who really love what they do, and shooting people - whether it's a couple on their wedding day or a baby screaming to be fed - is as rewarding as it is challenging.
My philosophy is to take my work seriously, but myself, not so much. I really prefer that my photographs do the talking. I like a bride who says, "Oh well!" when things go wrong. Sometimes the most beautiful shots are those with clothes that don't match, hair on the face, or kids refusing to smile on command. I guess what I am saying is life is not perfect, but it doesn't mean it isn't beautiful.
There’s no better feeling than walking into a client’s house and seeing my photographs celebrating that family’s life together.
